It's been a while...

It has definitely been a while since I have posted something up here. I have been working on editing pictures from a wedding, enjoying time with Ella (my two year old) before her brother comes in March, and spending time with friends and family. It amazes me how time flies not only in the work world, but in a child's world. It seems like yesterday I had Ella and she was so tiny and now she is growing up and talking about helping out when her baby brother arrives. (We will see.) :) This year has definitely flown by and has been a good one. I would like to thank everyone who allowed me to take pictures of their little ones and family this past year. I cannot tell you how humbled I was this year when I would go to the mailbox and get photo Christmas cards of the pictures that I had taken of many families. My new year's resolution is not only to lose a few pounds (which I hope will happen in March) :), but I also plan to learn a few more things in the "photography world," read a few books that I have been putting off, become more organized, and the list goes on.

My Adorable Nephew

Back in September of 2007, our family was faced with one of the hardest things that we had ever gone through. My nephew was born with a heart defect that caused him to have open heart surgery the first few days of his life. I knew deep down that he would pull through, but it was definitely a hard time to get through. Now he is 15 months old and we cannot keep track of where he is. He is such a happy boy and has definitely added a lot of love to our family. These pictures where took in the field behind the house where my sister and I grew up.

The Little Actress

This little actress needed some updated head shots. She is in the new upcoming movie Fifth Quarter that is due to come out early next year. She is such a doll and has many siblings that are just as adorable as she is.
